WHY DO YOU NEED A SURVEY?
YOU CAN ONLY CONTROL THE RISK IF YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS. |

Under the 'Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006', the Duty Holder of a non-domestic property must have an adequate Asbestos Management Plan.
A key stage in managing asbestos is to commission a 'Type 2 Standard Sampling, Identification and Assessment Survey' to identify the location, type, condition and extent of any asbestos containing materials present. All risk assessments are calculated on your behalf to ensure full compliance.
Where a property is due for Major Refurbishment or Demolition, it is imperative that the location, type and extent of all asbestos containing materials have been identified. This can be achieved by conducting a 'Type 3 Full Access Sampling and Identification Survey'. It is only by this approach that all materials can be removed in a controlled manner prior to the commencement of the works.
